Chris is an independent Lean Agile Coach, founder of Lean Agile Scotland and Lean Agile Glasgow, Principal Consultant at Contextualise and co creator of Change Mapping, a method of visualising and managing change.
He caught the Agile bug in 2003 when, as a developer, he borrowed his brother-in-law’s copy of XP Explained (which he foolishly returned). In around 2010 he found Lean, ToC and stumbled across Systems Thinking. This led to founding the Lean Agile Scotland conference in a desire to bring together lots of smart people to learn from and to introduce others in Scotland to these ideas. In the past few years his interest in Complexity Theory and Social Practice Theory has grown. His head is now a tangled mess of all of the things he’s learned in the last 20 years which he suspects will take the next 20 years to make sense of.

Henriette Wienges loves system thinking and a structure-oriented approach towards organisations. Ever and ever again she is amazed, how structures define a great part of the “what”, the “how” and sometimes even the “if” of our work, while helping us to understand our environment, make it strategically manageable and efficient. And yes – of course she is working agile and human-centered. Henriette is an experienced systemic Agile and Flight Level Coach and currently works as an SPC in automotive – a journey of itself. She is founder of The Elephant in the Room.

From major home renovations, starting up a street food business and sometimes even for software development , I love using lean agile approaches and thinking to address the situations and opportunities at hand. I started as a web developer back in the late 90s when the www was in its infancy. I got my first taster for agile when I attended my first Scrum Master course back in 2007. Since then, I’ve continued my learning journey, developing my business acumen with an MBA in digital technologies management, focused on customer needs, relationships, and communication. I’ve worked in product development, SaaS and consulting environments. I love digging into the detail and data analysis, yet I find it imperative to understand and define the big picture/vision, inspiring others. Whilst I grew up in the UK, all of my adult life was spent in Canada, before returning to the UK just over 5 years ago. I am currently leading the core development practice at an IT services company and product owner for one of our internal products. My dog often likes to join in and voice his opinion during online calls.

Dr. Klaus Leopold is a computer scientist and, as a top management consultant, has been helping companies worldwide to act agile in the market for more than ten years. Klaus developed the Flight Levels model because he repeatedly observed a phenomenon in agile transformations: Teams are "agilized," but these local optimizations do not result in an agile business. In his book "Rethinking Agility," he shows the reasons for this fallacy and how to avoid it. In his early years in the Agile community, Klaus worked intensively with Kanban and wrote two standard works on the subject “Practical Kanban” and as co-author of "Kanban Change “Leadership. Today, he uses the Flight Levels model to provide a non-prescriptive thinking framework for organizations to find their individual path to greater business agility. He shares his thoughts, experiences, and insights on the blog www.leanability.com and under @klausleopold on Twitter.

I am an Agile Delivery Manager embracing growth and learning.
I started my lean journey nearly 13 years ago on a factory floor looking for continuous improvements and applying Kanban. The improvement needed to be done somewhere higher and that’s where my true learning started. Looking for better ways of working moved through different startups and embraced short feedback loops and sharp learning curves.
Now I am part of delivery team at Spektrix and together we are building our model. I am passionate about strengthening coordination level of the growing engineering department and spreading the word of continuous improvement across the company. Glueing information together is a craft!
