Gitte Klitgaard is our next speaker. Gitte is an agile coach and part of the organising team for the German agile Coach Camp. Gitte has also been a regular speaker at LLKD.
Q. How would you describe yourself in a single tweet?
A. For now Gitte calls herself caring agile coach though she works with human skills more than agile. She is an enabler, a sharer, and a catalyst
She is helping people feel better, communicate better, collaborate better and feel safe to be themselves and try things out.
Q. In your opinion, what is the most exciting thing happening in your industry right now?
A. People seem to be realising that we need to look at people and not just processes. That we need to accept that we are humans and not clones. That human skills matter.
I see a hunger to learn about psychological safety (and sadly also a bunch of people thinking this is just some marketing scheme). I still think we have far to go as it is not enough to pay lip service to these things; it will take a substantial effort. And I believe it is worth it.
Q. Why should people come to Lean Agile London 2020?
A. Because it has a bunch of good speakers that will talk about good topics. And to talk to the speakers and the other attendents at the conference. Communication and interaction is where magic happens.
Q. What is your favourite thing about London?
A. People – especially friends 🙂
Q. Why should people come to your talk at Lean Agile London 2020?
A. Because you will get an honest authentic talk with a good story. It might not be what you are looking for, but it is hopefully what you need.
Q. What are you most looking forward to at Lean Agile London 2020?
A. The same things as always: learnings and interactions with good people.
