Since we announced the dates for Lean Agile London, things have been moving fast behind the scenes. This is an update of the first 20 days and how LALDN20 is taking shape.
Intangible Tickets Almost Sold Out
We made 40 Intangible Tickets available when we announced the conference. These discounted tickets will be available until 18 December while we start announcing the speakers. You take a risk not knowing most of the speakers and your reward is a discounted ticket (£200 + VAT).
This has been popular and we only have 5 of these tickets left. Once they are sold out we will activate the Standard Tickets (£250 + VAT).
First Speakers Announced!
We have a long list of 70+ awesome speakers we would love to host at Lean Agile London…and at the moment, we only have 18 slots available. So, the selection process is one of the most difficult jobs of organising the conference. We are going to have to say “not this year” to lots of people that we love and appreciate.
To give you an insight of the kind of speakers we are looking for, here are the first five we have confirmed already:
- Daniel Vacanti
- Liz Keogh
- Henry Stewart
- Klaus Leopold
- Prof Richard Betts MBE
We are extremely happy that they will join the 2020 conference
We have had lots of people asking if we are going to run a Call for Papers process. The simple answer is “no”. We simply don’t have the bandwidth to run a process like that. But also, our experience with LLKD was that a curated list of excellent speakers combined with a set of Fresh Voices work really well. For 2020, this is the approach we are going to take again.
As a not-for-profit and low-cost conference we totally depend on the support and sponsorship of companies. We have had a great response so far and we would like to thank the following companies for their support in making Lean Agile London a viable conference!
(Draft) Conference Logo
We are working with our friends at The Familiar to design the conference logo. The initial draft logo is available in our website.
We have received some excellent feedback and ideas and we are working on a new iteration of the logo!
We are hoping to organise Lean Agile London events throughout the year and not just as a Spring conference. For that reason we have created the Lean Agile London meetup group. Join it and get the announcements of the physical and online events we will be organising leading to the conference and after that.
